This role at Aritzia demands expertise in U.S. employment law, with a focus on state-specific regulations in New York and California. You will draft and implement employment agreements and support investigations to manage employee relations risks. Your collaboration with cross-functional partners is crucial in championing Aritzia’s employment policies across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and update employment contracts business-wide
• Support investigations of employee conduct to mitigate risks
• Implement contractor agreements and vendor contracts
• Advise on compliance with benefits plans
Requirements:
• Proven background in U.S. employment law
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the U.S.
• Collaborative mindset with cross-functional stakeholders
