Employment Attorney – Hybrid Jobs in Los Angeles, CA at Black Turtle

Our growing immigration law firm is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a solo immigration attorney in all aspects of legal and administrative practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a small office environment, takes initiative, and is eager to gain hands-on experience in immigration law.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft legal documents, client letters, and memoranda
Prepare and file USCIS petitions and supporting documents (following training)
Maintain organized case files and track deadlines
Conduct legal and factual research
Assist with client communication and scheduling
Draft monthly newsletters and support firm communications
Help manage website updates and social media content
Perform administrative duties and provide general support for the attorney as needed to keep the practice running smoothly

Qualifications:

Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Technologically savvy; comfortable using legal software, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms
Prior law firm experience is strongly preferred, especially in immigration law
Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate is required
