Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations Strategy and Guidance:

Manage the implementation, review, and provide recommendations to develop the HR policies and procedures in line with government requirements, in order to provide guidance to employees on their rights and responsibilities on a wide range of employment issues.

Manage the process of all administrative requests and queries, including but not limited to vacations, employment letters, and early retirement, to ensure that employee needs are addressed and responded to promptly in line with HR policies and procedures.

Manage employee administration processes (e.g., payroll, medical insurance, housing, school fees, end-of-service benefits) to ensure timely and accurate processing of benefits according to employee grades.

Manage all activities and processes related to the maintenance of employee data to ensure that this information is current, up-to-date and easily accessible.

Oversee compensation and benefits cycles, including annual salary reviews and performance-based payments, and coordinate annual performance and compensation reviews in collaboration with HR Business Partners.

Policy Development and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with labor laws, workplace regulations, and internal policies and procedures.

Review, update, and communicate employee relations policies to ensure clarity and adherence across the organization.

Stay up to date on current employment law trends and best practices to advise leadership effectively.

Employee Engagement and Communication:

Promote transparent communication between management and employees, fostering a culture of openness and trust.

Monitor employee morale and engagement, recommending improvements where needed.

Coordinate and implement employee surveys, feedback mechanisms, and focus groups to assess employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.

Training and Development:

Provide training to managers and employees on conflict resolution, effective communication, and employee relations best practices.

Conduct workshops on workplace behavior, diversity and inclusion, and compliance with labor regulations.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of employee relations issues, investigations, and resolutions.

Prepare regular reports on employee relations metrics, trends, and outcomes for leadership review.
