Veterans Disability Attorney – Lead Role (Remote)

We’re seeking a VA-accredited attorney with VBMS or VA.gov access to serve as the lead attorney for our Veterans Disability department. This is a fully remote position, where you’ll manage your own caseload and supervise a team of experienced legal assistants and case managers.

What You’ll Do
Prepare and submit initial VA disability claims, supplemental claims, and appeals before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals (BVA)
Review C-files and develop medical and legal evidence using VBMS or VA.gov
Supervise and support a remote legal support team
Ensure compliance with VA deadlines, procedures, and ethical requirements
Collaborate with leadership to improve systems, training, and outcomes
Optionally assist with Social Security Disability cases (not required)
What We’re Looking For
Required:
VA Accreditation
VBMS or VA.gov system access
Law license in good standing in any U.S. state
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable managing staff in a remote environment
Preferred:
Experience with Social Security Disability
Familiarity with Salesforce/Litify, or similar legal software
Background in legal team management or mentorship
