Position: Education Law Attorney (Hybrid)
Mid-sized women-owned education law firm with statewide practice representing school and community college districts seeks an associate to join its Students and Special Education Practice Group. Candidates will be considered for the following DWK **
East Bay
Minimum of five years of legal experience
Litigation and/or administrative process experience, including handling discovery and preparing pleadings; experience in mediations, arbitrations, and/or trials a plus
Excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
Flexibility, initiative, and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters arising in representing public entities, including administrative hearings litigation
Education law experience and/or public entity experience preferred
Admission to the California State Bar

The anticipated annual salary wage range the Firm reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position is $145,000 to $175,000. The final annual salary wage offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience in the job, type and years of experience in the industry, education, and other factors.
