Fantastic opportunity to join a leading global law firm as an eDiscovery Specialist. This is a hybrid role (3 days in, 2 days remote) which can be based in the Austin, Dallas or Houston office. Previous experience as an eDiscovery Specialist is required.
The eDiscovery Specialist will deliver excellent service to internal and external clients in respect of eDiscovery and other client data-related tasks.
Role and responsibilities
Performing day-to-day activities of multiple, concurrent matters to meet or exceed budgeted billable hours
Assisting client/lawyers in expediting data transfer utilizing media devices/SFTP including data logging
Providing Relativity support including user access and security permissions, review workflow set-up and support, application of search logic and text analytics features and creation of native and/or tiff productions for disclosure
Delivering end-user training sessions
Proactively identifying and mitigating risks
Establishing and maintaining solid working relationships with complementary AD&S services, such as ADL and PM
Contributing towards the continuous improvement of departmental working practices
Key requirements
Minimum of 2 years relevant eDiscovery experience required
Advanced Relativity administration experience
Hold or be willing to obtain the Certified Relativity Administrator credential
Excellent customer-oriented service ethos
Knowledge of the entire EDRM
Experience with data processing tools such as Relativity or Nuix
Understanding of forensic data preservation tools and techniques
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Law advantageous
