Summary:

We are seeking experienced Resolution Planning SMEs to support our bank’s Second Line Risk function, with a primary focus on the narrative development, documentation, and review of resolution plans. This role requires deep expertise in regulatory resolution planning, with a strong emphasis on authoring, editing, and quality assurance of complex narrative components aligned with regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, write, and review detailed resolution planning narratives and supporting documentation.

Ensure all content aligns with current regulatory requirements, internal risk frameworks, and strategic resolution objectives.

Partner with internal stakeholders (Finance, Treasury, Risk, Legal, Operations) to gather and synthesize subject matter input into cohesive and compliant narratives.

Review and refine contributions from other teams to maintain clarity, consistency, and regulatory alignment across all resolution sections.

Lead quality control reviews of narrative content before submission to regulators.

Translate complex technical and financial concepts into clear, concise language for various audiences, including regulators.

Stay current on regulatory guidance, expectations, and best practices related to resolution planning (e.g., 165(d), Dodd-Frank, Basel III).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Finance, Risk, Law, or Communications preferred.

5+ years of experience in resolution planning, with direct involvement in writing and reviewing narrative content.

Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., Dodd-Frank 165(d), Basel III) and financial institution structure/functioning.

Exceptional writing and editing skills, with experience developing regulatory or strategic documentation.

Ability to critically evaluate content for clarity, completeness, and regulatory compliance.

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Prior experience interfacing with U.S. regulators (FRB, FDIC) a strong plus.
