Work Schedule: Monday – Friday , 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Position Summary:

The Word Processing Supervisor leads a dynamic team of (approx. 15) word processors coordinators and document specialists in a renowned global law firm. This role offers an excellent work-life balance and provides the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a strong team culture. The supervisor ensures efficient document processing, manages work assignments, and delivers high-quality service to clients and firm personnel while maintaining critical deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and delegate tasks to word processing team to meet deadlines.

Provide guidance on document processing techniques and troubleshoot issues.

Record work requests, monitor workflow, and maintain logs.

Ensure proper staffing for each shift.

Manage attendance and handle department correspondence.

Assist with overflow tasks from other departments as needed.

Prepare shift-end reports and track work request status.

Conduct performance evaluations and address staff performance issues.

Enforce department policies and procedures.

Respond to inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to firm staff.

Requirements:

10+ years of word processing experience, with 5 years in a supervisory role in a law firm required

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Acrobat.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage records, prepare reports, and maintain confidentiality.
