Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Operations Specialist to join our Legal Team. This position is ideal for candidates with a keen interest in the intersection of law, business processes, and technology. The successful candidate will support the legal team’s efficiency and effectiveness by assisting with document management, contract administration, legal technology tools, and various administrative and project-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Process Support:
Assist with the management of legal workflows and standard operating procedures
Support matter and document management systems, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date
Maintain and optimize legal databases
Design and build dashboards for legal operations and executive reporting, including develop and manage API connections and system integrations with enterprise platforms, as needed
Own SharePoint/legal knowledge hubs and support business units with access to and use of legal resources
Technology & Tools:
Manage legal platforms and tools (configuration, updates, and user access)
Lead procurement and implementation of legal tech tools (including vendor coordination, internal stakeholder alignment, and onboarding)
Serve as infrastructure lead for legal systems architecture and process
automation

Reporting & Metrics:
Collect and maintain data on Legal Team performance
Assist in preparing reports and presentations on KPIs, workload, and efficiency metrics
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal departments such as the Operations, Finance, and
HR teams

Schedule and coordinate meetings, trainings, and legal team initiatives
Administrative Support:
Manage calendar invites, organize team documents, and maintain internal filing systems
Facilitate and lead regular legal team meetings, including agenda setting, documentation, and task tracking
Provide general administrative support for General Counsel, as required

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in relevant field of study
1-3 years of experience in legal operations, legal administration, or a similar role
Experience working with and implementing various software solutions, preferably legal software solutions
Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to organize tasks, prioritize deadlines, and track progress
Experience supporting multiple legal team members across various subject matters
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with legal tech tools is a plus
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to legal processes or in-house legal departments.
Familiarity with tools such as DocuSign, Ironclad, Legal Tracker, or similar.
Interest in legal tech, compliance, or corporate governance.
