Well established Nassau County, NY law firm seeking experienced part-time or full-time remote litigation associate attorney for NJ court appearances and paperwork.
Description/responsibilities:
Attorney will conduct NJ court appearances for conferences, motions, mediations, arbitrations and bench trials.
Attorney will review and draft pleadings and other legal documents
Conduct legal research
Review settlement agreements, letters, motions
Requirements:
J.D. from ABA accredited law school.
Lawyer admitted to and in good standing with NJ bar. (NY dual admission a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication
Prior court experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
