Discovery Paralegal Jobs in United States at Prince William County Government

As a Corporate Paralegal within the Corporate Litigation and Employment Practice Group, you’ll work closely with attorneys and legal professionals in the Employment Law Group. Responsibilities include working with various employment-related legal disputes, such as federal and state court litigation, arbitration, and charges filed with administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Department of Labor (DOL). Additionally, this position may support complex employment litigation (e.g., class or collective actions) and compliance matters related to employment law.

Must-have qualifications:
High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of 4 years paralegal-level work experience.
{OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher or a Paralegal certificate and a minimum of 2 years related work experience in a legal environment.

Preferred skills/experience:

Familiarity with all aspects of employment litigation support, including legal process, terminology, and research tools (class and collective action experience a plus.)
Knowledge of federal and state employment agencies and procedures, with experience drafting agency responses under attorney supervision.
Proficiency in electronic discovery and case management systems (e.g., Legal Tracker) and legal hold software (e.g., Exterro or Relativity).
Ability to collect, analyze, and coordinate data and legal materials, manage discovery tasks, and handle dynamic priorities.
Strong research skills and the ability to analyze legal documents, regulations, and monitor multi-state employment laws for compliance purposes.

Compensation
$34.39-$40.86 per hour
Gainshare annual bonus up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
