The Economic & Financial Crime Bureau (EFCB) was launched in June 2021 to enhance Guernsey’s capacity and effectiveness in tackling economic and financial crime. The EFCB is the enforcement response to the threats and risks Guernsey faces as a global financial hub. It is an independently led entity with a mandate to investigate serious economic crime, money laundering, and the proceeds of unlawful conduct.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Disclosure Officer located in Guernsey. The Disclosure Officer will be responsible for managing and reviewing disclosure requests, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role involves gathering, analyzing, and presenting evidence related to economic and financial crimes.
Qualifications
Experience in managing and reviewing disclosure requests
Strong analytical and investigative skills
Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements in economic and financial crime
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in law enforcement or financial regulation is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Criminology, Finance, or related field
