Patterson Advisory is a specialist corporate and financial communications firm advising boards, CEOs and executive teams through complex and high-stakes situations. We are growing and are seeking an experienced Director / Senior Director to join our team.
About the role
You will play a lead role across a portfolio of high-profile, ASX-listed clients, working directly with senior executives, boards and key external stakeholders.
Our work involves advising clients on how to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, including government, regulators, investors, media and the wider public.
This includes:
- Crisis and issues management
- Investor and stakeholder communication
- Transaction and capital markets activity
- Reputation, policy and media strategy
You will be trusted to lead workstreams, shape strategy and provide clear, high-impact advice in fast-moving and often sensitive environments.
About you
We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including:
- Corporate communications, advisory or consulting
- Investment banking, law or media
- Government, ministerial offices, regulatory agencies or policy roles
You will bring:
- 6 -10 years’ relevant experience
- Strong judgement and the ability to operate in complex, high-stakes situations
- Clear, concise communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders across corporate, government and regulatory environments
- The ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Experience leading new business processes, with a track record of sourcing and converting mandates
