A highly respected global technology company is seeking a senior attorney to join its legal team as a Director & Senior Corporate Counsel. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on complex commercial transactions, technology agreements, product initiatives, and strategic business matters within a mission-driven and highly collaborative environment.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on complex commercial agreements, including:
- Technology licensing agreements
- SaaS and software agreements
- Service agreements
- Co-branding and co-marketing agreements
• Partner with business leaders on:
- Product launches and initiatives
- Marketing and advertising review
- Customer contract matters
- Regulatory and compliance issues
• Advise on contract interpretation, legal risk, and policy matters related to technology and internet-based products and services
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support compliance with U.S. and international laws and regulations
🔹 Qualifications
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 12+ years of legal experience
• Prior in-house experience within technology, SaaS, internet, or related industries strongly preferred
• Strong background drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements
• Experience supporting product development and launch initiatives
• Virginia bar admission or eligibility for Virginia Corporate Counsel admission required
💰 Compensation
• Base salary range: $199,100 – $269,300
• Discretionary bonus eligible
• Potential stock award eligibility
