Responsibilities:
Draft, review, edit, and negotiate contracts per legal guidelines.
Oversee contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
Train the contracts team and update policies to ensure efficiency.
Collaborate with departments to streamline processes and improve speed.
Ensure contracts meet regulatory and compliance standards.
Manage contract risks and document deviations.
Work with business teams to include SLAs and performance metrics in contracts.
Monitor contract performance and report on compliance and risk.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and licensed in New York or New Jersey.
Experience training contract negotiation teams.
Experience managing a high volume of contracts.
Background in regulated industries.
Proven ability to improve processes and manage contract risks.
