Director, Legal Counsel, Law/Legal Jobs in Alwar, India at SPECTRAFORCE
Work location – Pan India (Remote/ Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead organization’s legal function, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting business objectives through expert legal guidance.
Manage all aspects of legal negotiations, contract management, compliance, and risk mitigation across global operations.
Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with business goals.
Advise management on the legal implications of strategic decisions and operations.
Draft, review, redline, and negotiate a variety of contracts such as client agreements, software legal agreements, vendor contracts, employment agreements, and other engagements, including complex master service agreements, service agreements, statements of work, change orders, consulting agreements, purchase order terms and conditions, amendments and non-disclosure agreements.
Establish and maintain a robust contract management system to streamline processes and ensure compliance.
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks, including those associated with staffing services and global operations.
Oversee and resolve legal disputes, including employee grievances, client disputes, and litigation matters.
Provide counsel on workforce management, privacy, data security compliance, and global mobility.
Drive contractual compliance through processes, training, and
collaboration
with teams and stakeholders in India and the US.
Collaborate cross-departmentally to address legal concerns proactively.
Maintain
up-to-date
knowledge of legislation changes and their implications.
Oversee portfolio of contracts, track status of agreements, and maintain contract status report, administering contracts repository.
Qualifications and
Experience:
LLB or equivalent legal degree; active license to practice law.
Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, preferably in staffing, recruitment, or professional services.
Expertise in labor law, contract law, corporate compliance, and privacy regulations.
Proven
leadership
experience in managing legal teams and external counsel.
