DIRECTOR: LABOUR LAW

P4 • 5-YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT • REFERENCE: AP1164

You pride yourself on your ability to provide a comprehensive range of legal services, including, but not limited to, legal risk management, litigation, legal representation in dispute resolution forums and tribunals, policy drafting, contract review and the provision of legal opinions and advice. Strategic leadership and expert legal counsel on all labour and employment law matters, legal compliance, mitigating legal and organisational risk, and promoting effective employee relations, good governance, and sound institutional decision-making, are all within your ambit of expertise.

In respect of research and tuition activities you are well positioned to support academic excellence and effectiveness, as you are in providing strategic development, implementation and governance advice. You are well-aligned with financial stewardship and sustainability frameworks, while you uphold the importance of stakeholder engagement and applicable legislation. At heart, you are a ‘people’s person’, always ready to assist where you can. In particular, you are respected for your operational excellence and effectiveness.

As an LLB graduate, you have gained admission as either an Attorney or Advocate and added a further 10+ post years of relevant work experience, of which at least 5 years has been in a management role. An LLM Degree will serve as an added advantage coupled with Higher Education exposure.
