Job Summary/Objective:
Assist injury attorney and their team to open, manage, and resolve injury and death claims arising out of motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and product liability. A case management assistant has sufficient knowledge and understanding of the claim process, theories of liability, and medical treatment. Must also be proficient in communicating with clients in a constructive/productive manner.
Job Duties:
Opening and organization of all transfer files for our referral sources; including obtaining all retaining packets/documents
Initial communications and introductions with transfer clients as well as with referring attorneys. (For ref’d client’s 2nd point of contact)
Preparation of MVA Complaints, filings and services.
Calendaring of court dates, rejections, entering judges, court dates, running calendars, creating captions and emailing calendar dept with court dates.
Enter settlement checks
Assist with setting up transports.
Managing incoming correspondence for the staff that telework (which requires immediate attention). Scanning and forwarding to staff and/or handling teams.
Managing and reviewing complex medical records for accuracy and pertinent information.

Work Environment:
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
Required Education and Experience:
Computer skills: Proficient in MS Word desirable, Microsoft Outlook, and Adobe
1-2 years experience in a plaintiff side, personal injury law firm preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
