Job Overview
The Director, Contracts and Transactions Counsel is an experienced attorney responsible for providing legal counsel on a broad range of contracting and transactional matters that influence the organization’s growth and operational activities across system-wide departments. The role involves working closely with the Vice President, Corporate Counsel, and senior organizational leaders on contractual arrangements involving goods and services, mergers, acquisitions, and operational initiatives, while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
The Director reports to and collaborates with the Vice President, Corporate Counsel for Kaleida Health.

Larkin Building, Exchange Street, Buffalo, NY
Work Type:
Full-Time, Hybrid
Schedule:
8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, No weekend/holiday work required
Salary Range: $120,354 – $165,487 (based on experience and qualifications)
Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree required
License to practice law in New York State in good standing
Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate law, contract drafting, and transactions (private practice or in-house)
Healthcare experience preferred but not mandatory
