Shifts Available: Monday – Saturday 4:30 – 8pm, Sunday 11-2pm (varied weekdays & weekends)
Westview Meadows is seeking a Dining Room Manager to maintain the overall appearance, cleanliness, and order of the dining room during and in-between serving periods. The Dining Room Manager will work closely with the waitstaff to ensure quality food service and presentation
Responsibilities:
- Ensure tables are set properly and that the dining spaces are clean and in good order.
- Arrange tables for special parties and/or reservations
- Make sure waitstaff are working in the correct stations and support waitstaff as needed
- Confirm chef has gone over the menu with waitstaff before dinner/brunch service begins
- Greet residents as they enter the dining room; coordinate appropriate seating
- Hand out menus, fill water glasses, and inform them of who their server will be
- Supervise waitstaff
- Ensure residents and guests have a pleasant dining experience
- Willingness to fill in for waitstaff & the dishwasher as needed
- Completes closing duties including: mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Dining Room Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Waitressing experience is preferred
- Leadership experience is preferred
- Experience interacting with elderly
- A strong sense of compassion and desire and commitment to teamwork
Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
