Deputy Sheriff – Execution Jobs in St. Louis, MO at St. Louis County Circuit Court
St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, operating within the Department of Judicial Administration, currently seeks a dependable, self-motivated individual to join their team as Deputy Sheriff, Execution. This role will serve and execute orders from the Courts such as Writs of Execution, Replevin Orders, Orders of Delivery, Writs of Attachment, Eviction Notices, and General Execution Orders necessary to recover money or property as part of a judgment settlement.

Examples of Duties
Essential Function Examples
- Execute all court-ordered eviction orders by removing the defendants and other unauthorized persons from real property and placing the plaintiffs in peaceable possession.
- Recover and seize property or money from County residents and businesses in a designated geographical area and organize the operations of other agencies assisting in the process.
- Complete final reports and summaries on all activities and actions taken in recovering or seizing property.
Marginal Function Examples
- Conduct formal Sheriff sales on seized property by posting advertisements, accepting oral bids from the public, collecting cash and completing all necessary paperwork.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Equivalent to three years of experience in the execution of civil and criminal process (law enforcement, investigations, corrections, enforcement positions, or Deputy Sheriff positions).
Special Requirements
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Must maintain qualifying standards in both the handgun and TASER within 6 months of hire.
Must possess and maintain a department-approved personal handgun in good working condition for work shifts.
May be required to possess and maintain a department-approved personal TASER in good working condition for work shifts.
Pay: $18.52 – $20.17 per hour
