You will collaborate alongside a small team of high-calibre professionals in a modern Maltese office, allowing you to build strong relationships, gain excellent visibility across the business, and contribute at a strategic level.
As Deputy MLRO, you will support the MLRO across a broad range of AML and compliance matters, gain valuable exposure to senior decision-making, and become a key contributor to the company's continued growth and success.
You will:
- Support the MLRO in overseeing and continuously enhancing the AML/CFT and Financial Crime framework, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Review, investigate, and escalate suspicious activity, transaction-monitoring alerts, high-risk customer cases, and financial-crime risks, and provide recommendations to the MLRO.
- Act as the designated deputy to the MLRO during periods of absence, acting as the key point of contact for internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Skills / Experience:
- Experience collaborating in EMI (Electronic Money Institutions).
- A bachelor's degree in Law is a plus
- Experience with FIAU and MFSA.
Salary / Remuneration: €60K – €65K DOE + hybrid + attractive bonus + health insurance
