We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both negotiating and litigating cases but experience is not required. We are happy to train attorneys to become fierce litigators!
Duties:
– Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as hearings, trials, and interviews/depositions
– Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
– Draft legal documents, such as motions and settlement offers.
– Attend court hearings such as arraignments, pre-trial hearings, and trials.
Qualifications:
– Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
– Admitted to practice law in Washington State where the position is located
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

– Competitive salary commensurate with experience. The posted salary is the entry level (no experience required) salary. Salary subject to increase with the incipient change in public defense standards.
