This position is being filled through PEAK Temporary Staffing Services of OU.
The OU Legal Clinic is a teaching clinic at the College of Law that serves low-income clients in criminal and civil legal cases.
Answer phones, route callers, and input messages into case management software; log in mail; greet visitors: this position is the face of the Clinic
Edit and print Client letters and documents for students and attorneys
Scan documents such as briefs, motions, and correspondence into case management software
Open new client documents by setting up new clients in case management software and traditional hard files
Copying and faxing documents.
Filing
Required Experience and Education:
High School diploma or GED; AND:
12 months office, clerical or administrative support experience.
Skills:
Working knowledge of office procedures
General office and customer service skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner
Must be detail oriented for accuracy of data and information
Ability to multitask, be organized, and self-motivated
Ability to work in stressful situations
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
