A small boutique firm is looking to hire an experienced litigation paralegal to work closely with our managing attorney. The ideal applicant has at last 3 years of litigation experience, preferably focused on plaintiff’s personal injury. The individual must be intelligent, reliable, hardworking, dedicated, organized, be a quick learner, have the ability to work independently, and have strong communication skills both verbal and written. This position also requires an individual who has the initiative to manage their own task list and ensure they are completing things in a timely manner.
Must write and speak English fluently, be able to type and be computer literate.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
1) Drafting legal documents including Summons and Complaints, Motions, Legal briefs, Bills of Particulars, Discovery Responses and Demands, Subpoenas etc.
2) Communicate and write letter to clients;
3) Communicate and write letters to insurance carriers;
4) Communicate and write letters to medical providers;
5) Preparing correspondence, investigative reports and other documents; review and handle requests for investigation and discovery;
6) Aid in the overall preparation of cases throughout litigation
Hours of work: Monday to Friday at the office 8 hour shifts

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
