DEPUTY CITY CLERK II Jobs in Newport News, VA at City of Newport News
We are looking for a receptionist to join our amazing team! An outstanding candidate must be professional, friendly, efficient, loyal, discreet, organized and able to work independently with our clients and fellow members of the team.
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week) | 8:30am-5:30pm
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing a high level of customer service
Answering phones and making calls
Copying, scanning and filing
File organizing
Preparing outgoing mail and taking mail to the post office
Sorting incoming mail
Maintaining logs
Drafting letters
Scheduling appointments and reserving the conference room
Maintaining case files
Interacting with clients
Stocking supplies
Performing other related office tasks as assigned
Must have reliable transportation for local errands
Qualifications:
Previous law office experience recommended
Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Adobe
Experience with Worldox and Tussman preferred
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Great organizational skills
Positive attitude
Strong computer skills/troubleshooting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
