Job description
Fast paced Insurance Defense Firm located in Maitland, FL is searching for a Legal Assistant. The firm handles first party property/liability coverage issues. Insurance defense and strong litigation experience preferred.
*Calendaring, scheduling of depositions and court reporters as needed, and follow up as it relates to discovery matters, depositions, notices, e-filings, and other pretrial compliance issues
*Transcription and familiarity with dictation equipment
*Experience with E-Filing software and procedures
*Familiarity and compliance with judicial orders
*Ability, experience and organizational skills necessary to juggle multiple cases in a fast pace environment
*Proficiency in all MS Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
