Senior Family Law Attorney
Do you enjoy being a Family Lawyer? Have you been practicing Family Law on a full-time basis for at least 10 years?
We are an entrepreneurial Divorce and Family law firm that is on track for aggressive growth and we need an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team and work directly with the owner and attorneys to support the team and help our clients.
We want to be known for helping our clients and protecting them during their divorce so they don’t get screwed. We want our clients to feel safe and assured that their case in in the right hands. We are growing fast, and we need a Family Law Attorney who can hit the ground running.
This position will be responsible for important work, including:
– Conduct legal research
– Draft and review pleadings
– Interview clients and witnesses for hearings or deposition
– Prepare for and attend depositions
– Prepare questions for witnesses
– Meet with managing attorney to review progression of case and strategy
– Review discovery requests and responses and prepare applicable objections
– Meet with paralegal for hearing or trial preparation
– Draft Motions and other pleadings
– Prepare proposed order
– Prepare for and attend mediation
– Prepare for and attend hearings and trials.

– You have strong writing skills – especially when it comes to Motions
– You have amazing attention to detail
– You are very good with calendars, e-mail, spreadsheets, word processing, and the internet
– Your middle name is “No Drama”
– You are an awesome juggler of tasks and can change gears quickly
– You are willing to jump in to help when needed, i.e., you do not think scanning, copying or answering the phone are “beneath you”
We love to help people learn and grow. But we don’t have the time for that right now. We need a Family Law Attorney with experience in exclusively Family Law. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding.
This is a full-time job where you are expected to manage a caseload, so you absolutely must be able to work *in the office* for 40 hours per week and bill the amount of time expected. There is an opportunity for bonus compensation for those who can demonstrate their profitability.
