Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Demand Writer to join our growing law firm. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly, accurately, and persuasively.
This role involves reviewing case-related information and drafting well-organized, compelling, and professional legal documents. While legal experience and a college degree are preferred, they are not required. We welcome applicants with strong writing backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow within the legal field.
Responsibilities
- Draft clear, persuasive, and well-organized demand letters and other legal documents
- Review medical records, bills, case documents, and supporting evidence
- Organize and summarize relevant case information
- Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and properly formatted
- Work closely with attorneys, case managers, and other legal team members
- Manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines
- Conduct research as needed to support document preparation
- Maintain organized and confidential case files
Qualifications
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- A bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Previous legal, law firm, personal injury, or demand-writing experience is preferred but not required
