An innovative, top tier law firm is seeking a paralegal to join their litigation team and provide key support in managing complex cases.
Job Description: This position will play a critical role in supporting attorneys with case preparation, trial support, and legal research. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have strong multitasking skills to handle various responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct interviews and prepare detailed summaries for attorneys
Organize, review, and summarize legal documents and medical records
Perform legal research and assist with case preparation
Draft legal documents, including discovery responses and motions
Coordinate meetings and communicate with legal professionals, experts, and court staff
Support attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits and witness coordination
Assist with calendaring and schedule management
Qualifications
3-5 years of paralegal experience specifically in insurance defense
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Experience with legal research databases and court filing systems
Familiarity with civil litigation procedures
Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
