Job Summary
A nationally recognized litigation firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing Central Florida office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys handling complex matters, working closely with clients and experts, and taking an active role in case strategy and development.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage sophisticated litigation matters while working alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage cases through all phases of litigation
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft and argue motions
- Manage written discovery and develop case strategy
- Work closely with clients, expert witnesses, and litigation teams
- Assist with trial preparation and case presentation
Qualifications
- Active member of the Florida Bar
- Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience
- Experience handling depositions, discovery, motion practice, and case management
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently
- Trial experience is a plus, but not required
The ideal candidate will have prior civil defense litigation experience and be comfortable managing cases through all phases of litigation.
