Compensation:
Some flexibility. Up to $150,000 for associates, up to $180,000 for experienced associates, and $225,000 for partners (no book required).
Job Details Responsibilities
Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution with partner oversight.
Conduct legal research, draft motions, respond to discovery, and take and defend depositions.
Handle court appearances and advocate for clients in hearings.
Negotiate settlements and strategize case resolutions.
Track billable hours with daily time entry.
Communicate effectively with clients and provide regular case updates.
Requirements
Licensed to practice law in California.
Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of legal experience (3+ years considered).
Experience in civil litigation and insurance defense preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Strong ethics, professionalism, and attention to detail.
