Position: Insurance Defense Attorney Kingwood HYBRID REMOTE
job description
distinguished, mid-sized insurance defense litigation firm is looking for experienced texas insurance defenselitigation attorneys to join their houston team (our office is located in kingwood, tx).
if you have first party property or other relevant insurance defense experience, this job can be a hybrid work-from-home role – we allow working from home 2 days per week. (we will consider 100% remote if you’re very experienced).
ideal candidates have 2 + years experience in tx first party property defense litigation or other insurance defense experience.
duties:
reviewing and analyzing new files from assignment by the adjuster
drafting pleadings and motions
issuing written discovery and answering discovery
review and analysis of property damage records / claims files to identify damages and liability issues
deposition prep and conducting depositions
arguing motions and attending court hearings
mediations and trials
client phone calls
preparing comprehensive status reports to clients
should have experience with expert witness depositions and preparing for same. Should also have trial experience or at least “trial prep” experience.
