, the chosen candidate will work alongside experienced attorneys to represent clients in insurance defense matters, gaining exposure to a variety of high-profile cases.
Duties
:
Represent clients in insurance defense cases through various stages of litigation. Attend court hearings and trials, both in-person and virtually, as required. Draft legal documents, motions, and pleadings, ensuring accuracy and
attention to detail
. Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to strategize case handling. Maintain strong
communication
with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders. Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant case law and industry trends.
Requirements:
Admission to the California State Bar, or eligibility to gain admission within a reasonable timeframe. 0-2 years of experience in insurance defense or a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency
in legal writing and research. Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and providing high-quality work. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications:
An active member of the California State Bar (or ability to obtain within a reasonable time).
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written
communication skills
. Strong analytical and
problem-solving
abilities. Proficient with legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to represent clients professionally in court settings.
