On behalf of a leading and innovative global player in the biopharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a Data Privacy & Governance Specialist. Joining a small, agile, and solution-oriented team of three, you will serve as the go-to expert for all data privacy matters (with a particular focus on the Human Resources / Talent domain).
Forget abstract legal theory: we are looking for a hands-on ambassador who can demystify compliance and work closely with our business leaders worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partner & Advisor: Act as the trusted point of contact for teams and "Data Owners" to answer daily GDPR and privacy queries.
- Operational Implementation: Translate complex legal and privacy requirements into simple, concrete, and seamless business workflows.
- Data Governance & Lifecycle: Define, maintain, and optimize data retention and deletion schedules across our various applications and systems.
- Continuous Improvement & Audits: Audit existing practices, identify areas for improvement, and design Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, and training materials.
- Future-Proofing Projects: Support the implementation of emerging regulations (e.g., the EU AI Act for HR tools) and evaluate the compliance of new talent vendors.
The Profile We Are Looking For:
- Experience: You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in advisory, data governance, or GDPR compliance roles.
- GDPR Expertise: You have strong expertise in data privacy regulations (experience with HR/Talent data is a major plus, but we are open to candidates from other industries!).
- A "Challenger" & Communicator: You possess outstanding communication, influence, and negotiation skills. You know how to constructively challenge stakeholders and offer viable, business-friendly alternatives.
- Autonomy: You are highly organized and confident in writing clear policies, procedures, and documentation from scratch.
- Languages: You have excellent professional English communication skills (both written and verbal). French is considered a strong asset.
Nice-to-have "boosters":
- A CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional Europe) certification.
- A legal background.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Colibra or SuccessFactors.
Offer:
- Group insurance
- Hospitalization insurance
- 8 euros meal voucher per day
- Reimbursement km or company car
- Monthly allowance
- A 13th month
- Training to stay at the forefront of innovation
- Flex Income Plan
A rate as a freelancer is also possible.
