Position: Data Privacy Attorney – Global Hedge Fund
Location: New York
3 days in the office and 2 WFH every week I am representing a global financial institution in New York City, looking to hire their first Data Privacy Attorney. This gives you full
autonomy
to lean on your experience and expertise working with the contracts team and be the SME for data privacy at the firm. You will work with teams firmwide to uphold adherence to pertinent data privacy laws and regulations and be tasked with negotiating the terms of agreements involving data privacy issues.
Your role
will extend to providing counsel on the firm’s current policies for managing personal and sensitive information. The client is looking for those well-versed in transactional agreements touching on data privacy, covering everything from software and financial data licenses to benefits agreements. You will actively contribute to crafting new policies pertaining to data privacy matters and play a key role in addressing challenges related to data breaches and incident responses.
