A leading global law firm with a strong cybersecurity and privacy practice is seeking a talented mid-level associate to join its Washington, D.C. office. The firm offers a collaborative environment focused on innovation, client service, and professional development.
Responsibilities
Advise clients on cybersecurity preparedness, data breach response, and regulatory compliance.
Support investigations and regulatory inquiries related to data privacy and cybersecurity.
Build and maintain compliance programs for U.S. federal and state privacy laws (NIST, CCPA, CPA, BIPA, HIPAA, WMHMDA, among others).
Assist with data privacy due diligence and M&A transactions.
Draft privacy policies and negotiate data processing agreements.
Qualifications
3–6 years of cybersecurity and data privacy experience.
Familiarity with artificial intelligence and emerging technologies is a plus.
Strong academic credentials and solid law firm experience preferred.
Experience in federal government or law enforcement on cybersecurity or privacy matters is welcome.
Active Bar membership in good standing.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $260,000 – $390,000 (plus discretionary bonus)
