Joubert Law Firm seeks a motivated, self-starter for our Baton Rouge office to join our intake team. We are looking for an outgoing, focused individual who can manage a high-volume and time-sensitive workflow effectively and efficiently. Strong people skills are necessary. The position requires one to work both independently and within a team environment. The position focuses on confidently presenting clear information to potential new clients.

This role requires strong communication skills via phone, text, email, data entry, and other tasks related to potential case intake. Our Intake Specialists possess qualities that build relationships and are client focused. They serve our potential clients and answer their inquiries. They are compassionate, understanding, and patient.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Handling phone calls, text messages, and emails from potential new clients;

Frequently communicating with clients;

Maintaining and updating our case management software.

Our Customer Service and Intake Specialists establish caring relationships with our clients and collaborative partnerships with our attorneys and support team. This position is for someone seeking a long-term commitment with growth opportunities.

Experience is desired but not required.

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have at least a year of experience in customer service or working in a law firm.

Candidates should be familiar with the law, legal procedures and protocols, and the court system.

Candidates should also know the basics of the day-to-day operations of a law office.

Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of case management software.

Excellent communication and people skills are essential.

Candidates must have secretarial and organizational skills and be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously effectively.
