Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Associate Attorney to become an integral part of our team. The ideal candidate will have, at minimum a basic understanding of transactional law and estate planning, with a desire to expand their practice into additional areas as the firm grows. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, client interaction, and the chance to work closely with a well-respected and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle transactional and estate planning matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and business contracts.
Participate in client meetings, providing legal counsel and guidance.
Take on increasing responsibility for case management and client relationships.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters and strategic business development.
Contribute to the firm’s marketing and business development efforts.
Stay updated on legal developments, trends, and practice areas as the firm expands.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar.
2+ years of experience in transactional law and/or estate planning is preferred but not required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Willingness to learn new practice areas and develop a diverse legal skill set.
Interest in Probate Litigation.
