Exceptional Litigation Paralegal Opportunity – Fully Remote (Ideal for Aspiring Attorneys)

Our boutique litigation firm, based in Los Angeles, is seeking a talented and driven paralegal to join our team. While this role is fully remote, we offer regular opportunities for in-person shadowing at mediations, depositions, hearings, client meetings, and trials, providing invaluable practical experience.

About You:
We’re looking for someone exceptional – a paralegal who is not only skilled and experienced but also intellectually curious and driven to learn. Law school enrollment or recent graduation is a significant plus, as is a strong undergraduate academic background. Commercial litigation experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with 1-2 years of personal injury experience who demonstrate the aptitude and desire to transition to commercial litigation.
Qualifications
2-5 years experience as a paralegal at a litigation practice working on commercial cases or injury cases.
Trial experience
Strong undergraduate college credentials preferred.
California litigation experience.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct client and witness interviews.
* Perform in-depth legal research.
* Draft and review legal documents.
* Address client inquiries (without providing legal advice).
* Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy.
* Manage discovery requests and responses.
* Gather and organize evidence for depositions, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
* Provide comprehensive litigation support at depositions, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Estimated 35-40 hours per week.
* Competitive hourly rate, ranging from $35-$50 per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
