Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in our Portland office for a Temporary Litigation Legal Assistant. This position will be responsible for trial support (trial binders in particular) and drafting, finalizing, and submitting a variety of legal documents. This position will also perform a wide variety of legal assistant and administrative duties to support the firm’s attorneys and will create a positive image of firm by communicating with clients and other agents of the firm in a professional and helpful manner.
Regular schedule will be 8:30am-5:00pm M-F (37.5 hours/week), although overtime will be required during trial from April 28-May 2. The ideal assignment would start April 21 or 22 and go through May 16, with a potential for extension. This position is on-site in our Portland office.
Preferred Qualifications
Trial support experience (especially as a legal assistant)
Experience e-filing in Oregon District Court as well as the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals
Ability to work in person every day at our Portland office
Ability to learn new technology quickly
Willingness to jump in and support the team
