About The Opportunity  

We are currently looking for a proactive Credit Analyst to join our client’s team. Reporting to the Credit Manager you’ll play a key role in the assessment and processing of mortgage applications. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your credit experience in a non-conforming lending environment, where you’ll be exposed to a variety of client scenarios and learn how to assess applications that sit outside the traditional lending space. 

 

You’ll work alongside a supportive team of Credit Analysts, BDMs, and the Senior Leadership that will help you grow in your credit career. 

 

Key responsibilities, you will be: 

 

Prepare, assess, and submit consumer and business loan applications in line with internal policies.  

Oversee scenarios and workshop deals in collaboration with the Credit Manager and other senior stakeholders.  

Build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers, sales teams, and internal departments.  

Identify opportunities to enhance credit processes and procedures for efficiency and compliance.  

Complete due diligence across all applications, ensuring alignment with NCCP, AML/CTF, and Privacy obligations.  

Support internal reporting requirements and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.  

   

About You  

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit analysis or underwriting, ideally within mortgage, finance, or banking sectors.  

Familiarity with ApplyOnline or loan origination systems. 

Exposure to non-conforming lending will be highly regarded.  

Solid understanding of mortgage lending and complex financial structures, including companies and trusts.  

Excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.  

Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.  

Prior experience holding a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) will be highly desirable.  

A positive and professional attitude, with the willingness to be onsite in the Melbourne office 5 days per week.
