Position: Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney
Overview
The Fort Lauderdale, FL office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice.
The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) to six (6) years of experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions regarding first party property and general liability matters. Litigation experience, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions, is required. Strong research and writing skills are essential. Admission to the Florida Bar is required.

Our Insurance Coverage Practice focuses on interpreting contracts of all kinds and representing insurers in complex coverage claims, including monitoring, mediations, arbitrations, and declaratory relief litigation in state and federal courts across the United States. We represent primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, third-party administrators, managing general agents, insurance brokers and agents, and independent adjustment companies.
Our attorneys have experience across virtually every line of insurance business.
While experience in insurance law is preferred, we are also interested in developing talented attorneys with excellent litigation skills and a demonstrated interest in insurance law.
