Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, drafting, breach of contract and fraud litigation This role involves extensive legal research, writing, and litigation to support trial attorney in court. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced law office environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research on various issues related to litigation cases.
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings.
Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the firm to ensure comprehensive case management.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
Manage a caseload effectively while meeting deadlines.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the California Bar.
Proven experience in litigation, preferably within a law office setting.
Strong knowledge of contracts and fraud.
Excellent research and writing skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and client advocacy.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $125.00 – $185.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
