Legal Pricing & Billing Analyst
Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite | Locations: Los Angeles, Chicago, New York
Full-Time | $75,000–$90,000 Annually
About the Role:
A leading national law firm is seeking a sharp and analytical Legal Pricing & Billing Analyst to join its client finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with attorneys and key internal departments to support complex client billing arrangements, enforce compliance standards, and improve billing efficiency across high-value accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Review client-specific rate structures and implement billing terms accurately
Interpret and apply Outside Counsel Guidelines to internal systems and processes
Collaborate with intake, billing, finance, and IT teams to ensure billing accuracy
Communicate billing requirements to partners and internal stakeholders
Assist in creating pricing proposals and supporting fee arrangement strategies
Audit billing processes to ensure compliance and identify improvements
Contribute to ongoing development of best practices for client financial management
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree required
2+ years of experience in legal billing, pricing, client intake, or financial operations
Proficiency with billing software (Aderant or 3E strongly preferred)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
Strong communication skills, with confidence interacting with attorneys and senior staff
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
A fast learner who can quickly adapt to evolving processes and technology
