Responsibilities
The candidate should be able to independently manage own caseload through all phases of pre-trial litigation. Commercial litigation experience in construction and real estate matters in state and federal courts is required. Drafting pleadings, discovery demands and responses, and complex motion papers. Strong deposition experience is required. Some trial experience is preferred.
Qualifications
JD degree from law school and in good standing with NYS Bar Association. 3-5 years’ law firm litigation experience required. Excellent critical thinking, writing, organization and research (Lexis) skills. Exceptional judgment and the proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively.
