HELP BUILD AND SHAPE OUR CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
We are a small but growing law firm, and we’re looking for a Senior Case Coordinator who thrives in a startup environment. This is more than just a coordination role — you’ll play a key part in creating and maintaining an organized, efficient case management process as we build out our firm’s operations.

Note: This isn’t the common Sr. Case Coordinator role! This role plays a key role in keeping our Attorneys on track and leads weekly meetings.
Compensation:
$25 – $32 hourly
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO (Essential Functions):
Monitor and track the firm’s legal workflow pipeline to ensure tasks and cases are progressing within established deadlines and milestones.
Review case statuses weekly to identify overdue tasks, cases requiring retainer replenishment, or cases that need attention due to delays or resource demands.
Communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to clarify task assignments, address workflow issues, and ensure progress is maintained.
Assist in preparing and maintaining reports to highlight case progress, workflow patterns, and areas needing improvement.
Conduct routine checks in the case management system to ensure task deadlines, time entries, and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
Coordinate and facilitate case status meetings with the legal team, ensuring active cases are discussed, next steps are identified, and tasks are assigned appropriately.
Provide updates to the Law Firm Administrator on case pipeline status and escalate any ongoing challenges requiring higher-level intervention.
Assist in implementing changes or improvements to workflows as directed by leadership, offering feedback and suggestions when appropriate.
Foster a collaborative work environment by facilitating effective communication across teams to ensure consistent and efficient handling of client matters.
Other duties or projects as requested.
Qualifications:
WHAT YOU’LL BRING (Essential Qualifications):
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
Certification in legal studies preferred.
Experience:
3 years of experience in a legal environment, such as case coordination, paralegal work, or legal operations.
Familiarity with case management software and legal workflow tools, with experience in Clio preferred.
Knowledge/Skills:
Strong understanding of legal workflows and case management processes.
Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and build positive relationships.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes quickly.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
Time management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion in handling sensitive information.
General knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
