Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
Salary: $77,563 to $110,580 annually (To be negotiated) / 35 hours per week.
Location: 99 University Ave Kingston, ON K7L 3N6.
Workplace information: On site. There is no option to work remotely.
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time. Starts as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
Advise clients of their legal rights and all matters related to law.
Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law.
Perform management functions related to the practice of law.
Plead clients’ cases before courts of law, tribunals, and boards (lawyers only).
Draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion.
Represent interests of corporation/employer in all business related to legal matters.
Conduct law workshops.
Research legal precedents and gather evidence.
