Position: Counsel Role with MLITSD in Ontario
Become a Counsel for the MLITSD, representing clients in a diverse array of legal proceedings. This position requires strong litigation skills and a focus on administrative law across Ontario.

Ideal candidates are Step 1 OPS ALOC and OCAA lawyers located within 125 km of the job site. In this role, you will conduct prosecutions, appear in court, and provide legal training and advice to ministries. This position necessitates frequent travel throughout Ontario and participation in committees and special projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide representation at OLRB hearings

• Conduct prosecutions under key legislation

• Offer litigation support and training to ministries

• Appear at judicial and Coroner’s hearings

• Participate in administrative and special project duties

Requirements:

• Good standing membership with the Law Society of Ontario

• Experience in administrative law and civil procedure

• Knowledge of judicial review processes

• Strong communication and writing abilities

• Ability to travel throughout Ontario as needed
