Job Description
The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for an Events Coordinator to join a busy DC law firm. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for an individual with solid events experience in a professional services environment to ensure the firm’s events are executed with precision.
Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate and execute client events both in-person and virtual
Collaborate with communications team to develop communications plans for events
Research and select venues based on budget, and other objectives
Negotiate vendor contracts
Coordinate with other teams to track RSVPs, feedback, and post-event analysis
Manage day of event logistics, including hotel staff, event staff, and other vendors
Assist with other projects to ensure successful events
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s Degree
1+ years of event management in a professional services environment
Experience with Zoom and Cvent preferred
Proficiency in Interaction or other CRM
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization and interpersonal skills
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
